WELCOME

I’m Christine Rocha and you’re at the landing page of my professional portfolio. This site is dedicated to my endeavors, and my journey, as a mechanical engineer, facility director, and as a life-long student in the trade of project management. My journey began early on in secondary school where my interests initially sparked within mathematics; the language of the universe. From there I went on to the University of South Florida’s College of Engineering where I earned my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and became certified by the State of Florida. As a project manager at an aerospace company, I have had the pleasure to engage in a variety of different projects; each one with it’s own unique set of challenges, pitfalls, opportunities, and beneficial outcomes. Whether it entails tasks as trivial as researching specifications for ceramic floor tiling, or coordinating extensive large-capital modifications & retrofits for commercial buildings, the role of the project manager is an interesting & fulfilling one. For it is this fulfillment, and the passion of these pursuits, that bring happiness to the soul, body and mind. So I invite you to take part in my journey, and I sincerely hope you enjoy.

“A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.”
