Stairway to heaven? Not quite, but we did have a very long staircase to the roof that didn’t have the proper tread rise or run spacing, or any landings. I worked with engineers and a prefab steel company to build a staircase that my techs could build on site. It worked out wonderfully and was a step in the right direction.
