The vacant building to the south of the main manufacturing facility was leased to a different company many years ago. Prior to my arrival, the lease had run out and the building was allowed to fall into a state of disrepair and was frequently vandalized. It was decided that it would cost less in the long run to demo building. Given that this was an older building, asbestos testing was completed and found, and asbestos remediation was required. This was also a long and technical project.
